Hybrid adaptive ANC is a technology that enables the Active Noise Cancellation feature to adapt to the level of noise in the surrounding environment. This means that the ANC will only use the amount of power required at any given time, reducing the feeling of occlusion in situations where a high level of ANC is unnecessary. Additionally, the user can manually adjust the ANC using the mobile or desktop versions of EPOS Connect.

The IMPACT 860 is equipped with advanced microphone technology powered by EPOS AI™. It features a noise-cancelling algorithm that can intelligently detect and eliminate background noise. The microphone uses beamforming technology to scan the surrounding area 32,000 times per second, enabling it to accurately identify and block sources of noise.
